Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all project requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Prepare comprehensive project schedules, plans, and workflows, and monitor and report on project progress.
  • Conduct cost estimation and analysis at various stages of the project, ensuring that all financial aspects are accurately forecasted and managed.
  • Coordinate and manage all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical reports.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of construction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and liaise with the construction team.
  • Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are well-informed and aligned on project objectives and progress.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project coordination role in the construction industry, preferably in residential construction.
  • Proven experience in cost estimation in the construction sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related field would be an added advantage.

Pay

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
