Project Coordinator I - Security Systems
Description
The Project Coordinator supports the Security Solutions business unit, collaborating with Sales, Project Managers, equipment requests and purchases, and handling invoices and files. This role involves data entry and tracking within various systems, serving as a liaison between the business unit and accounting.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Purchase equipment for security projects.
- Maintain project parts files with purchase orders, inventory transfers, invoices, bill of material, and transmittal information for projects.
- Establish and maintain cordial and functional relationships with factories and suppliers.
- Answer incoming service calls from customers and dispatch technicians as needed.
- Aid in month-end closing procedures.
- Monthly progress billings for construction projects.
- Collect stock transfers from inventory and input to accounting job cost system.
- Provide general administrative support for SS division.
- Support job tax schedules and certified payroll rates with accounting, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 years business school or 5 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer literacy with specific experience using MS Office Products – Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Basic accounting knowledge, including experience with invoicing, purchase orders, and financial tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
