OTHR$27–$28/hrFull-time
Floor Coverings International of Aurora-Denver is a locally owned franchise serving the Denver-Aurora metro. We bring the flooring showroom to customers’ homes and manage every project from start to finish, competing on trust, care, and community impact.
About the role
We’re hiring a Project Coordinator to run projects and care for customers from sale to final walkthrough. This role is about delivering happiness, creating beautiful spaces, solving problems creatively, and growing with a fast-growing company. 50-75% of the job is in the field with clients; the rest is keeping systems tight so nothing slips.
Responsibilities
- Take care of customers throughout their project: intro, scheduling, updates, and final walkthrough.
- Drive to jobsites across the metro to kick off installs, check quality, and close out projects.
- Build and run the plan for each job using Monday.com, juggling 15+ active projects at different stages.
- Order and track materials, and coordinate installer crews.
- Support estimating: take field measurements and help build estimates on subcontractor jobs.
- Solve problems the moment they arise and keep everyone in the loop.
- Handle warranty and follow-up service with care.
- Learn flooring products, installation methods, and the trade to earn respect and protect quality.
Requirements
- Amazing customer service—hospitality experience is a big plus.
- Proactive overcommunicator who prefers too many updates over leaving anyone guessing.
- Natural problem solver who stays calm when things go sideways.
- Hands-on or construction background (flooring, carpentry, remodeling, roofing, general labor, DIY).
- Organized, reliable, comfortable with everyday numbers, and holds a valid driver’s license.
- Community-minded and eager to earn certifications and grow.
Core Values
- Hospitality first: the customer’s experience is the product.
- Overcommunicate, no surprises: everyone stays in the loop, every step.
- Trust and transparency, always.
- Pride in the details and the craft.
- Do the right thing: it’s about getting it right, not about being right.
- Leave our community better than we found it.
Pay
- $27/hour to start ($28 for exceptional experience).
- Raise to $28.50/hour at 90 days when ramp goals are met.
- Opportunity to move to a $60,000 salary with benefits, bonus opportunities, and a company vehicle around 6 months (mileage reimbursed until then).
- Monthly phone stipend.
Benefits
- Paid training and an annual budget for certifications and professional development.
- Growth path to Project Manager and company leadership.
- Genuine path toward ownership for the right person.
- Annual franchise convention in Cancun, all expenses paid.
- Paid Time Off.
- Bonus based on performance.
- Employee discounts.
