Project Coordinator
About the role
The Project Coordinator serves as the commercial liaison between product lines, field sales, and customers during the execution of small project orders. They develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers in their assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Use Eaton prescribed tools and applications to enter project orders consisting of Built-To-Order, Assembled-To-Order, and Engineered-To-Order equipment.
- Promote proactive project management through timely and accurate communications with internal partners (Operations, Credit, Sales) and external customers regarding scheduling status, expediting, change orders, logistics, and financial order management.
- Serve as the customer’s advocate by relaying the appropriate level of urgency to peer contacts in Operations and escalating issues as required to management.
- Manage daily phone and email activity, providing directions, solutions, and updates, including backup support as necessary for teammates.
- Meet expectations per EatonCare Service Level Agreement.
- Perform all other duties as required by Regional Management.
Qualifications
- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 2-year degree from an accredited institution
- RELOCATION IS NOT AVAILABLE. CANDIDATES MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE WITHIN A 50 MILE RADIUS OF ARDEN, NC TO BE CONSIDERED.

- PREferred QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- BS/BA Degree from an accredited institution
Skills
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills (written and verbal communication)
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in typing
- Proficient in creative problem solving, conflict resolution, and managing priorities
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing high volume of transactions (orders, emails, and phone calls)
Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this role is $59,000 - $86,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
