Project Coordinator
About the role
The Department of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS) at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health is seeking a Project Coordinator for the SHARP (Skills for Health And Research Professionals) Training Program. Reporting to the Project Manager and Director of SHARP, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating a variety of tailored workshops throughout the year, with a focus on the summer SHARP Program.
Responsibilities
- Developing, managing, and hosting trainings for the SHARP Program
- Communication Liaison and Point of Contact
- Other related duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience
- Demonstrated ability in guest relations and event management
- Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills
- Project management experience is highly desirable
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours when needed, including some evenings and weekends
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Moderate level of physical activity required
