Work with various staff
Work with various staff to intake project ideas to develop solutions regarding workflow and asset management of parking facilities.
Administer procurement activities
Coordinate with vendors and work within City systems to process contracts and payments to vendors.
Represent the project/program
- Represent the project/program on multi-department or inter-agency task forces, committees, and related organizations.
- Maintain strong working partnerships with both external and internal stakeholders that help achieve the goals of the project or program.
Develop and administer budgets and contracts
- Develop and administer budgets and contracts.
- Manage operational activities of the program or project, including record keeping, computer applications, grantor reporting, etc.
- Participate in and coordinate others engaged in grant seeking and grant proposal development.
Manage formal monitoring systems
- Manage and maintain formal monitoring systems to ensure compliance with standards.
- Oversee the collection and organization of information for reports, case studies, and other documentation related to the project or program managed.
Working Conditions
- Mostly indoor office environment but may be required to work outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: Three years performing duties similar to those described above.
- Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience closely related to the duties of the position MAY be considered.

- The selection process will consist of one or more of the following steps: a rating of relevant education and experience and/or an oral examination (100%).

- The City has determined that a criminal background check and/or qualifications check may be necessary for certain positions with this job title.

Eligible List Statement
- The names of applicants who meet minimum qualification and who pass the screening process shall be placed on the eligible list for employment consideration.
- This list will be certified to the hiring manager who may use the list to fill a vacancy of the same job title.
- This eligible list will expire one month after it has been established.
Interview Selection
- The hiring authority reserves the right to determine the maximum number of candidates to interview from the established eligible list.
- If the hiring authority decides to interview other than by exam score order, they may select additional people to interview based on a candidate’s education or experience related to the field, work history, or skills uniquely related to the operational needs of the position.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Good knowledge of public administration.
- Knowledge of budget development and management.
- Developed writing skills and knowledge of contract and grant proposal preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret official specifications, regulations, ordinances, etc.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
