Responsibilities
- Lead the project control function of a project and influence internal and external clients.
- Serve as lead facilitator of project forecasts and advise project teams or JV partners on matters affecting project execution.
- Support proposal efforts.
- Lead the project controls scheduling team in plan and schedule preparation, interfacing with JV partners for planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure constructability is part of the planning process and apply key cost control processes.
- Lead a team of project control professionals and coordinate planning on less complex projects after baseline is established.
- Ensure systems are in place to monitor work status and proactively identify issues.
- Interface with the management team to identify and address issues.
- Advise field teams and home office project control managers on matters affecting project success.
- Lead or direct project controls activities with JV and subcontractor construction partners as applicable.
- Act in a "lead person" capacity, providing work direction without formal management responsibility.
Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree with six or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience, OR no four-year Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in a Home Office or Field Office.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
