Project Controls Specialist - Michels Power, Inc.

About the role

As a Project Controls Specialist, you will work with Operations to ensure efficient and effective budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination processes. Critical for success are problem-solving and organization. The abilities to work independently and consistently meet deadlines are a must.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate budgeting and cost control for assigned projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software
• Monitor project progress against schedule and budget
• Identify and resolve issues impacting project timelines and budgets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; 1-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• General knowledge of accounting and business operations
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
• Proven ability to use data to drive process improvement
• Ability to travel up to 50% for jobsite visits and meetings
