Responsibilities

  • Generate Periodic Project Controls Analytics: create periodic project analysis of gathered data through verification and validation to support project controls metrics. Distribute and archive project controls analysis as appropriate.
  • Perform Change Control: track, trend, and initiate action for changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost. Analyze change requests, gain approval, and distribute change requests in compliance with internal governance, standards, and procedures.
  • Project Controls Benchmarking and Self-Assessment Initiatives: lead assigned benchmarking and self-assessment initiatives relevant to project controls functions. Summarize and communicate improvement opportunities, formulate adoption of company and industry best practices, and address performance gaps.
  • Expertise in Project Controls Methodologies: aid Project Managers in Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) development, project schedules, cost estimates, track and trend cash flow reports, change control documentation (scope, cost, or schedule), and any reports associated with project controls. Track and report project status, perform variance, earned value, and critical path analyses.
  • Create and Maintain Project Estimate: work with Estimator(s) to create project cost estimates to establish effective cost controls management. Ensure the estimate includes all necessary raw materials, resource/labor rates, manufactured materials/equipment, and current industry data relative to project scope. Manage the estimate according to PMCoE Estimating Standard and review cycle.
  • Effective Team Participation: maintain effective relationships with customers, support resolution of quality issues, and complete assignments (proposals, project tasks, reports, etc.) as negotiated. Display proficiency in conflict resolution and reaching win-win outcomes among team members.
