Key Responsibilities
- Lead project controls processes to support execution of project deliverables
- Set up and maintain projects within Enterprise Planning & Controls software
- Analyze project data, review logs, and generate reports using project controls tools
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Prepare and manage scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project projections
- Serve as a technical point of contact for project controls-related inquiries
- Review and approve Purchase Orders and Subcontracts for proper cost coding
- Track, document, and manage changes to cost reports and forecasts
- Collaborate with Project Management and Accounting teams on cost reviews, contingency tracking, and audit support
- Develop and present cash flow reports
- Create and manage schedules at varying levels of complexity
- Apply and validate logic ties within project schedules
- Maintain and monitor resource loading within schedules
- Support Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM)
- Generate and tailor schedule reports for stakeholders
- Analyze schedule performance, including critical path and forecasting impacts
- Perform schedule "what-if" scenario analysis
- Develop and maintain earned value management (EVM) systems
- Track and validate progress measurement and maintain progress curves
- Conduct material takeoffs as needed
- Perform quality checks on project controls deliverables
- Conduct field audits to ensure reporting accuracy and process compliance
- Afford assistance with project forensic analysis when required
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 3+ years of direct project controls experience
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or ability to obtain)
