About the role

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Florida. This role will be onsite and requires a daily presence on the site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, including WBS development and critical path analysis
• Provide integrated scheduling and cost estimating support for our client’s capital program
• Support project planning and control through rigorous schedule maintenance and budget forecasting
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and detailed cost estimates, including quantity take-offs
• Perform schedule updates, variance analysis and delay impact assessments to identify potential risks
• Prepare project controls reports, dashboards and performance metrics for PMO leadership
• Cover coordination with project teams to align estimates and schedules with operational constraints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in project controls, scheduling and cost estimating for construction or infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated experience on maritime or port projects
• Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore) and cost management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Team player mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in risk analysis and evaluating the impacts of potential changes on cost and schedule
• Familiarity with public-sector capital program reporting
