Project Controls Schedulers for Infrastructure Capital Delivery (Hybrid - PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD)
About the role
Amtrak is seeking Project Controls professionals to support its Capital Delivery department. Open positions include Project Control Specialist-Schedule, Lead Project Controls Specialist-Schedule, Manager Project Controls-Schedule, and Sr Manager Project Controls-Schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform or lead project controls for mid ($50M+) to large ($500M+) capital construction projects, programs, and/or portfolios.
- Familiar with multi-discipline railroad infrastructure (track, electric traction, communications & signals, structures, stations, and facilities).
- Prepare linear schedules and utilize TILOS software.
- Experience with Deltek Acumen.
- Capital construction controls experience in the rail industry, oil and gas, energy, or pharmaceutical industry.
- One or more of the following certifications / credentials:
- Oracle Primavera P6 certification
- SP or RMP (PMI)
- PSP, CEP, EVP, CCP (AACE)
- Chartered MRICS
- EVMP
- FAC-P/PM Level III
- PRINCE2 - CCA, or CDT (CSI)
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Understanding of database management and data operations (e.g., SQL).
- Experience implementing project control software and tools.
Qualifications
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience performing or leading project controls for mid ($50M+) to large ($500M+) capital construction projects, programs, and/or portfolios.

Pay
The salary/hourly range is $94,300– 176,040. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee’s assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee’s base salary.

Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
