Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules to support project management and control activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that schedules align with project objectives and facilitate effective planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Develop, update, and manage project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to baseline and monitor progress against project schedules.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and monitor critical paths.
- Prepare and distribute schedule reports to project teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating scheduling risks or delays.
- Support project controls functions, including cost control and change management.
- Maintain accurate information regarding project timelines, milestones, and activities.
- Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting discrepancies between planned and actual timelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project controls or scheduling.
- Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of cost control, change management, and earned value concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field required.
