About the role
PMA Consultants is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler for an exclusive assignment on-site at a client's facility in Detroit, Michigan. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Schedule review
- Schedule development
- Schedule updates
- Progress monitoring
- Cost forecasting
- Walk the project site to assess progress and validate schedule performance
- Develop, update, and analyze CPM schedules, including critical path and schedule variance analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another engineering discipline, or a related field
- 5+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience
- Hands-on scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6
- Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated capability with applicable software programs
- Professional certifications preferred
Qualifications
- Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
- Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
Pay
$100,409 - $124,330 a year
