Job Summary
This position supports the Nuclear Development project and team by providing Schedule and cost development, analysis, reporting and communications as part of the Nuclear Development organization and plays a critical role in project monitoring, risk identification and accurate costing.
Principal Accountabilities
- Assist with providing financial guidance and analytical support within the Budgets Department.
- Includes budget to actual reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, reconciliations of contingency balances and project reporting, and other special projects as assigned (i.e., budgeting/monitoring for labor related costs and employee benefits, overhead allocations, etc.).
- Requires working knowledge of both system-generated information and reporting (on-line journal entry, general ledger, Microsoft Power BI, budget inputs, etc.) as well as ad hoc reporting including complex budgetary analysis that identifies trends and explains variances.
- Supports the annual budget cycle, month-end and year-end closing processes as well as assists in the preparation and updating of budget policies and procedures including desk manuals and other training tools.
- Analyst will need to apply knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles gained by education and experience. Will need to understand Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements.

- Earned Value Management methodology, Project Controls experience, Detail variance analyses
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Working knowledge of professional project management principles
- Knowledge of project reporting and cost analysis of project information
- Well-developed skills in the areas of administration and time management
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed written and oral communications and presentation skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Strong teamwork skills
- Detail focused when required
- Strong analytical, mathematical, data checking skills

Billable Range Required
- Level I Required Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in a project controls/project management position in an industrial environment; OR an AA degree and 6 years of project controls / project management experience; OR a High School diploma or GED and 8 years of project controls / project management experience in lieu of degree. Formal training on Primavera P6 or another project management system is required.
- Level II Required Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and five years of experience in a project controls/project management position in an industrial environment; OR an AA degree and 7 years of project controls / project management experience; OR a High School diploma or GED and 9 years of project controls / project management experience in lieu of degree. Formal training on Primavera P6 or another project management system is required.
- Level III Required Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in a project controls/project management position in an industrial environment; OR AA degree and nine years of project controls / project management experience; OR High School diploma or GED and eleven years of project controls / project management experience in lieu of degree. Formal training on Primavera P6 or another project management system is required.

Salary Information
- The expected base salary for this position ranges from Level I PCP- BR $48.24 - 69.34/hour
- Level II PCP- BR $60.30 - 85.99/hour
- Level III PCP- BR $72.36 - 103.71/hour
