Job Summary
The Project Controls Integration Analyst will support the Transportation division by ensuring the smooth flow of project operations, tracking costs, schedules, and performance indicators. This role requires a mix of technical skills in programming, data visualization, and construction project controls to contribute to the overall success of projects across four regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Verification: Collaborate with project teams to verify the accuracy and completeness of quantities, takeoffs and project costs.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain databases for tracking ongoing construction projects and interface within databases for data entry purposes.
- Financial Transactions Review: Review monthly billing and payments data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project efficiency.
- Reporting: Create reports on Estimate at Completion (EAC) and other project evaluations using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Schedule Support: Assist in building and updating schedules as needed, ensuring they are properly cost-loaded and coordinated with InEight and the ERP system.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance in using tools like InEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and all MS Office programs.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in construction project controls or cost analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Primavera P6 Professional Project Management, Tableau Essential Training, and Data Visualization: Storytelling are a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience with InEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and all MS Office programs.
- Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Perl, Raspberry Pi), web development (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, react.js), database technologies (MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and AI applications.
Physical Requirements
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day.
- Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
- Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
