Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS/CBS)
- Implement and manage Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Primavera P6 project schedules
- Perform weekly updates, reconciliations, and performance reporting (CPI, SPI, HPI)
- Track and report on change orders, EWOs, and subcontractor/vendor costs
- Support billing processes, Statement of Work (SOV), and financial reporting
- Audit billing documentation and monitor project cash flow and commitments
- Assist with subcontractor/vendor onboarding and project setup
- Train field teams on project controls systems (EVMS, P6, FDE)
- Provide ongoing analytical and administrative support to project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of project controls or related experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Solid understanding of cost, schedule, and progress tracking
- Solid working knowledge of earned value, forecasting, and productivity metrics
- Experience maintaining key project logs (change, risk, quantities)
- Experience with electrical construction, mission-critical, hyperscale, or data center projects (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret project performance data and ensure accuracy across reporting systems
- A high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Effective communication and collaboration across field teams, project management, accounting, and scheduling functions
