Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain weekly cost forecast reports (ETC/EAC)
- Maintain project commitments, incurred and actual costs
- Perform cost variance analysis
- Aid in the development, evolution, and standardization of documents/procedures company-wide
- Earned value management reporting
- Support operations with estimated organization and cost budget development
- Perform other duties as required or assigned, including various project reporting
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years of related experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job costs and overall general accounting
- Ability to effectively present information to other managers regarding project controls, processes, and procedures
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with best-in-practice customer service attitude
- Comfortable taking leadership roles and effectively influencing others
- Flexible and able to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, friendly, and accommodating personality to serve internal customers
- Confidential handling of all personnel issues/documentation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and follow-up is a must
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
