About the role

Within our consult business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project. The Project Mace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, have been selected as the Gateway Development Commission’s partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project. The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of project controls procedures, workflows, and tools across the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).
  • Assist in updating and maintaining project tracking systems, including the “lessons learned” register and master issues log.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and dashboards that monitor schedule, cost, risk, change, and document management performance.
  • Provide quality assurance support for project controls data and reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency with GDC standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project controls activities are aligned with the HTP Project Management Plan (PMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in the configuration and use of the Project Management Information System (PMIS), supporting data entry, reporting, and access control.
  • Assist in the coordination of updates to the HTP PMP and supporting plans as project activities evolve.

Requirements

  • Entry-level experience or academic background in project controls, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PMIS platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant internship or project experience will be considered.

Pay

The estimated starting salary for this position is $120,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
