Project Controls Analyst

About the role
The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, cost control, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial success of assigned projects. The Project Controls Analyst will assist in coordinating all contractual requirements, design development, and construction progress.
This position will be located in Miami, FL with up to 30% travel time across the US, including potential placement on project sites in NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, and WY.

- Punch-List Management Support
- Warranty Review & Procurement
- Risk Register Change Management (PCO/PCCO)
- Prime Contract Payment Applications
- Formal Documentation of Notices to Owners and Notices to Subcontractors
- Developing and presenting training on specific processes and practices to project team members (PM, PFE, Superintendent)
- Collaborating with the PFE and Superintendent on construction progress, subcontractor issues (e.g., back charges), permits, inspections, owner issues, field procurement, and work-rounds
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years’ work experience within the engineering/construction industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Superior communication skills (oral and written)
- Highly organized and structured
- In-depth knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
- Project Scheduling Experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6
- Document Control Experience
- Ability to travel and/or relocate (up to 30% travel time)
- Experience in projects greater than $50 million
- Experience with Sage and Procore
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Pay
$130K–$150K per year, commensurate with experience.
