About the role
The Project Controls Analyst is an experienced level position assigned to either a role in Scheduling or Cost Management or a combination. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Responsibilities
- Perform project controls assignments according to training, capability and experience, with general supervision
- Assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments with additional experience and demonstrated capabilities
- Understand EPC work process and dependencies between functions
- Develop project risk analysis skills
- Understand Financial/Accounting reporting
- May prepare forecasts under minimal supervision
- Maintain and may prepare Cost Spread with minimal supervision
- Understand Cash position on project
- Prepare input to monthly reports
- Maintain and may lead quantity reporting
- Maintain Change Log and ensure forecast reflects appropriate potential changes
- Apply financial acumen
- Gain understanding of key scheduling processes
- Facilitate the development and maintenance of the Level I/II schedule
- Lead in schedule development and maintenance, including fragnet identification and resource leveling
- Lead critical path and float analysis reporting
- Develop and maintain earned value reports
- Gain understanding of key cost control processes
Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelor's degree with three or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with six years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office
Management Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
