About the role

At CESO, a Project Construction Administrator (PCA) executes duties on behalf of the Architect of Record and the Architectural team during construction to ensure the Contract Documents are implemented correctly by the Contractor. The PCA serves as CESO’s representative in all construction-related communications with the Contractor and acts as the Client’s representative throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal and external project team members and consultants to complete shop drawing reviews, provide RFI responses, construction observations and reports, punch lists, final site square footage analysis, warranty site walks, pay application reviews, and other tasks associated with the Architect’s contractual responsibilities during construction.
  • Represent CESO and the Architect of Record during construction client meetings, site visits, and report updates, findings, and observations to the project team and other stakeholders.
  • Travel as project schedules dictate.
  • Work with the Project Manager and project team to provide feedback on issues arising during construction that could improve document quality and constructability.
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to meet Client and/or Contractor established turnaround times and schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience assisting with managing projects or managing projects directly in a design and construction-related field is required.
  • Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) is preferred.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred.
  • Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and/or Revit, MS Project, Procore, PlanGrid, and Newforma.
  • Ability to travel.

Pay

$68,415 - $122,252 a year. The pay band reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this position at CESO. Actual pay is determined by location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Below are the typical new hire pay ranges for this position based on location:

  • Brentwood, TN: $76,016 - $92,182
  • Charlotte, NC: $76,016 - $92,182
