Job Description
- Lead technical support to manufacturing plant to assure product quality and performance
- Responsible for transferring new products/technologies to production
- Adapt existing DFMEA and set up for new modified products
- Evaluate new technologies, raw materials, and processes
- Manage product maintenance process independently
- Initiate technical presentation from raw material suppliers
- Leads TS 16949 Audit for the R&D team
- Perform special projects and other assignments as directed by manager
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of R&D experience in product formulation, ideally involving polymer compositions for automotive or industrial applications
- Proven track record of successfully leading development projects from ideation through market introduction
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams (e.g., EHS, Operations, Sales/Marketing) to oversee progress and ensure successful outcomes
- Highly motivated, self-driven individual who takes responsibility and ownership for assigned tasks and projects
- Curiosity and courage to challenge the status quo and push technical boundaries in support of Sika’s innovation culture
- Excellent communication skills and an open mindset that fosters a respectful, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment
