About the role

TRC Companies creates and implements sophisticated and innovative solutions to the challenges facing America’s energy markets and infrastructure. A national energy and environmental services organization, TRC Companies provides its services to America’s major industries, utilities, banks, insurance companies and federal, state and local government agencies. TRC Advanced Energy is seeking a qualified individual to support commercial and industrial energy efficiency and demand management programs in New York. Responsibilities may include energy analysis, site inspections, technical writing, and project management for multiple commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects and/or customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule site visits with C&I, Multifamily, Residential customers
  • Confirm project scopes of work with customer and confirm that scopes match project applications and records
  • Conduct inspections to document existing building conditions, operations, and schedules and to identify potential efficiency measures
  • Conduct inspections to verify that the energy efficiency measures meet program quality standards
  • Provide design and technical assistance to projects and recommend relevant energy efficiency measures
  • Provide customer support with the energy efficiency work scope development
  • Provide technical guidance and support in addressing onsite issues
  • Develop inspection reports that summarize on-site findings and include photographs and action items to resolve discrepancies
  • Work with customers and contractors to resolve discrepancies identified on site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering/Technical preferred), or at least four years of relevant experience
  • Experience in construction, energy engineering, or related building science field
  • Established critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Established presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong computer skills: proficiency in MS Office and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license in the State of New York is strongly preferred; position entails travel, mostly within New York City

Pay

Salary range: USD $60,008.00 – USD $89,814.40 per year.
