Project Assistant, ERP
About the role
The Project Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to Project Managers to ensure smooth coordination and execution of the ERP project across the organization. This includes gathering and processing project information, assisting with documentation, preparing communications, tracking progress, organizing materials, and supporting project activities from initial planning through completion.
Responsibilities
- Support project managers with tasks needed to manage ongoing projects and requests.
- Aid in planning, scheduling, budgeting support, and project tracking.
- Maintain project documentation from initiation through closeout.
- Document meetings by taking notes and preparing minutes.
- Afford assistance in reviewing proposals and service information.
- Maintain organized records for projects at various stages.
- Schedule meetings and organize calendar invites.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners as needed.
- Create and assemble digital and print materials such as summaries, presentations, and status updates.
- Afford assistance with spreadsheets, lists, and basic cost or budget summaries.
- Afford assistance with written, verbal, and visual communication to support project workflows.
Requirements
This is a limited term position with an initial duration of 2 to 3 years, aligned with the project’s lifecycle expected to end December 2028. While employment beyond this date is contingent upon project needs and funding, there is a strong possibility this will transition to a regular position dependent on post go live project stabilization needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred.

Pay
$40,409 - $60,613 commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time, on-site position based in Athens, Georgia. The work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
