About the role

The studio is currently seeking a full-time candidate with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to manage high-end residential design projects in NYC, surrounding states, Miami, and the Caribbean.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-end residential design projects from inception to completion.
  • Execute both modern and contextually appropriate designs.
  • Work on projects ranging from private houses and apartments to a variety of commercial and cultural facilities.
  • Work in a casual but focused work environment.
  • Lead and motivate a team of designers.
  • Ensure adherence to NYC Department of Buildings coordination, zoning, and code requirements.
  • Develop and assemble Construction Documents (CD), Department of Buildings (DOB) and Local Law 11 (LPC) sets.
  • Proficient in 3D rendering and software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, or Rhino.

Requirements

  • BArch or MArch degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Strong design skills and a technical aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and client relationship skills.
  • Experience in CD development and thorough knowledge of assembling CD, DOB and LPC sets.
  • Proficiency in NYC Department of Buildings coordination, zoning, and code familiarity.
  • Excellent drafting skills and fluency in 3D rendering.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CS, SketchUp, Enscape or Rhino.
