Responsibilities
- Assist project design and documentation efforts
- Cook with consultants, clients, and contractors
- Oversee code compliance (building codes, zoning, ADA, life safety)
- Oversee construction administration activities and project closeout
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Prepare and refine presentation materials and drawings
- Aid in client meetings, site visits, and project reviews
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's Degree Program in Architecture (or similar industry affiliated program)
- No experience required to begin (0-3 years of professional experience preferred)
- Preferred Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Rendering Software (Lumion, Enscape, D5, Twinmotion, or equivalent)
- PREFERRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: Awareness of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods; Ability to produce conceptual design drawings, construction documents, and presentations with guidance of senior staff; Visual, verbal, and written communication skills; Team player; Humble; Always looking for the best solution regardless of credit; Proactive initiative; Positive attitude; Willingness to learn/Accept critique; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Passion for architecture and a desire to pursue Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and licensure.
