Project Architect (Healthcare) - Austin
About the role
We’re looking for a Healthcare Architect who is passionate about designing healthcare environments and finding the mission for each client. This role involves collaborating on healthcare projects from concept to completion, documenting design work, and communicating effectively with clients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on healthcare projects from concept to completion
- Document design work from design presentations to construction documents
- Develop and maintain effective verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients
- Aid in the creation and continued development of design concepts throughout all phases of design
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience, including 2 years in Healthcare Buildings
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited 5-year program/school
- Proficiency in REVIT
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles and practices, including project financial, schedule, and resource planning
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures
- Flexibility to manage concurrent projects at various stages of development
- Effective communication skills with clients, teams, and consultants
- Quality-minded and self-motivated, able to handle multiple priorities with strict deadlines
- Experience and proficiency with Healthcare Building projects preferred
- Knowledge and experience with sustainability standards, Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, and Office Suite
Qualifications
Passionate, driven self-starters with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, 5+ years of professional experience, and a strong understanding of architectural principles and practices.

- Understanding of healthcare building codes and standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with sustainability standards and software tools
