Project Architect (Education) - Austin
Location: Austin, TX | Reports to: Director of Architectural Operations

About the role
Our progressive Architectural Team in Austin, TX seeks a talented Project Architect to lead project teams in the production of architectural drawings and specifications that generate innovative, and buildable, solutions for extraordinary Education projects. We want someone with a desire to exceed expectations and a commitment to ensuring the built environment matches the design intent. We need someone who can give critical insight to project teams on a variety of construction types to help our clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead talented project teams to ensure the timely execution and delivery and high-quality production/construction documents for various-scale projects.
- Spearhead the development of progressive design concepts through all phases of design.
- Provide innovative ideas for Education architectural amenities and features to help our clients stand out.
- Deliver highly effective presentations that advance our technical and design expertise, and that deepen our relationships with clients.
- Mentor teams and design staff while developing exciting roadmaps for career advancement.
- Stay ahead of current and emerging architectural trends, innovations, and tools.
Requirements
- Registered Architect preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited 5-year program/school.
- 5-8 years of professional experience, inclusive of 2 years of experience with Education Buildings.
- Proficiency in REVIT.
- Strong, comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices.
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
