Responsibilities
- Lead the development of design and construction documents from concept through construction administration
- Collaborate closely with Job Captains, design staff, and consultants to ensure coordinated, high-quality project delivery
- Provide mentorship, redlining, and technical guidance to junior team members
- Conduct code and zoning analyses, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Cover document quality, accuracy, and consistency with office standards
- Engage in ongoing studio activities, project reviews, and advancement of firm culture
- Participate in client and consultant meetings as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Architecture
- Architectural license required
- 5-8+ years of professional experience, preferably including high-end residential or design-focused projects
- Extensive experience in design development, detailing, and construction documentation
- Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of building systems, construction methods, and detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software strongly preferred (Sketchup, Rhino)
- Significant experience in high-end single-family residential projects
- Proven experience guiding production teams through project timelines and deliverables
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Experience interacting with clients, consultants, and managing project communication
- Ability to work closely with the firm principal and production team from schematic design through construction administration
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time-management abilities
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to support and guide junior staff
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for modern and contemporary architecture
- Active participation in firm-wide planning, business development, and studio growth initiatives

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
