Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing architectural projects from concept through completion. They work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.
• Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated and executed effectively.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Manage the design process, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Present design ideas to clients and stakeholders, providing clear explanations and addressing concerns.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance design capabilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional architecture experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and local permitting processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
