Project Architect

We're a Milwaukee-based construction firm with a reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across a wide range of sectors. We're looking for a talented and driven Project Architect to join our growing Milwaukee team.

About the role

You'll take ownership of projects from concept through completion, serving as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams. You'll lead architectural design and documentation across multiple project types including corporate, healthcare, municipal, K-12, industrial, and retail. You'll manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining our high standards of quality. You'll collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of design and construction. You'll mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of excellence. You'll navigate permitting, code compliance, and client presentations with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Leading architectural design and documentation across multiple project types including corporate, healthcare, municipal, K-12, industrial, and retail
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining our high standards of quality
• Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of design and construction
• Mentoring junior staff and contributing to a culture of excellence
• Navigating permitting, code compliance, and client presentations with confidence

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• Active licensure or actively pursuing licensure (RA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a project architect or similar role
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
• Experience across multiple project sectors is a plus
