Responsibilities
- Leadership: Ensures the overall design intent of the project is incorporated into detailed documentation.
- Technical Resolution: Resolves and coordinates technical issues within a defined portion of the project.
- Communication: Communicates with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure all information is incorporated into project requirements.
- Supervision: Supervises the preparation of technical drawings by less experienced staff.
- Client Interface: Regularly communicates with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, and provides technical support and project communications.
- Teamwork: Coordinates with the project leadership team, assists in planning and conducting work, and attends on-site visits and project meetings.
- Business Development: Participates in business development meetings to target specified project, client, or market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required, if licensure is offered in your region.
- NCARB registration preferred.
- LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
