Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects working under Project Managers and Principals from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Construction Phase.
  • Coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers, both in-house staff and outside subconsultants, ensuring the project is detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients.
  • Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer.
  • Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development.
  • Ensure that designs meet applicable building code requirements.
  • Aid with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture required from an accredited University.
  • Architectural license required.
  • LEED AP a plus.
  • Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
