Project Architect, 7-10 Years

About the Role

STUDIOS Architecture is seeking creative and talented designers who can contribute at various project scales and stages of project development. The San Francisco office focuses on complex projects that integrate technology and sustainability, emphasizing the power of design and the social role of architecture across commercial office, media and entertainment, mixed-use, labs, academic, and civic institutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate internally with teams and externally with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Engage in all phases of architectural services: Concept Design, Schematic Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration.
• Apply advanced project management experience to complex project types.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to design with strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Utilize design and documentation tools, particularly Revit, for professional-caliber visualization and construction documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 7–10 years of experience working in an architectural or interior design firm.
• Experience with highly complex project types, including large commercial office, mixed-use, civic, academic, and/or cultural projects.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing professional projects with intelligent, innovative design conceptualization.
• Professional-caliber visualization and presentation graphics.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Grasshopper, and SketchUp.
