Project Analyst, Sr - Revenue Cycle
Job Summary
Hawai'i Pacific Health is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to join their Revenue Cycle department. This role will focus on building and implementing processes, procedures, and systems related to revenue cycle management.
About the Role
The Revenue Cycle department at Hawai'i Pacific Health oversees various aspects of healthcare operations, including hospital, physician, pharmacy, and worker compensation services. The Senior Project Analyst will play a key role in coordinating functional testing and approving system changes that impact revenue cycle operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement revenue cycle-related processes, procedures, and systems
- Coordinate functional testing and approval of all system changes affecting revenue cycle operations
- Monitor inpatient and outpatient charge posting, billing, and collection operations
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures to ensure departmental effectiveness and compliance with insurance billing regulations, government billing requirements, collection laws, and reimbursement procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or health care related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing or Claims certification or equivalent training and experience
- Five (5) years of experience as an analyst, including three (3) years as a project manager, lead analyst, or patient accounting management
