Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and related documentation
- Cook up, distribute, and administer project correspondence
- Prepare bid documentation; contact and distribute materials to prospective bidders
- Process, distribute, and log submittals and shop drawings
- Maintain standardized project files
- Assemble and prepare project cost control and pay books; keep data current and review monthly with the client
- Verify trade contractor bonds, certificates of insurance, sworn statements, and lien waivers
- Attend and participate in project interviews and presentations as needed
- Maintain the project manager's schedule and serve as their liaison
Qualifications
- A two-year technical or business degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Working knowledge of finance/math, contracts, bookkeeping, and document control procedures
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- General knowledge of administrative and purchasing procedures
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge or experience with building technology a plus
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
