Project Administrator
About the role
The Work Management Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of a new work management system. This position is designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of employees in their specific roles, as well as meet the overall needs of the company. The Project Coordinator will work closely with field employees and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify new work in the online Work Management System and process work documents to create actionable projects for field employees.
- Receive and process project information for underground utility lines.
- Distribute project information to other departments to facilitate their work.
- Update project information and status in the work management system.
- Submit and track service requests.
- Report project status information to project supervisors.
- Maintain schedules for field crews and advocate for them.
- Interface with the customer's Work Management System specialists.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in project coordination.
- Strong data entry and administrative support skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in construction administration.
- Familiarity with work management systems or processes.
- Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Backgrounds in business, systems, leadership, human resources, development, and education are beneficial.
Work Environment
The position is based in a new office for an established Power EPC company that is expanding into a new market to support Entergy capital projects. The environment is dynamic and offers the opportunity to be part of a growing team.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
