Project Accountant - Industrial Electric

Responsibilities

As a Project Accountant, you will support IEI's Alliance/Lilly team by accurately and consistently completing accounting functions for assigned projects.

• Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices
• Assist with monthly closings and account reconciliations
• Review contracts to ensure project billings are prepared accurately
• Prepare invoice packages with all required supporting documentation
• Collect and review pertinent subcontractor paperwork
• Maintain accurate project accounting records and financial documentation
• Collaborate regularly with project team members and other departments
• Assist other team members as needed

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Previous experience in accounting, project accounting, or a similar financial support role is preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with accounting software is beneficial
• Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
