Responsibilities

  • Payroll
    • Process new hire documentation for all craft employees.
    • Collect, enter, review, and post craft time card data.
    • Maintain union stamp inventory and distribute stamps weekly as required.
    • Monitor and prepare invoices for SWAC and other applicable Security Clearance Agencies.
    • Compile certified payroll and monthly EEO reports.
  • Accounts Payable
    • Process receipt of materials against Purchase Order.
    • Prepare cost blocks and batches to forward to project Controller for review.
    • Track and prepare monthly accrual for job supplies, permanent materials, and equipment.
    • Review, code, and send to Main Office all jobsite expense reports.
  • Subcontract Administration
    • Maintain subcontract file at jobsite.
    • Work with division office on maintaining current insurance certificates.
    • Handle subcontract requisitions.
    • Track, report, and properly file MBE/WBE requirements and provide to owner, resident engineer, or other parties where applicable.
    • Verify comfort with and understanding of job cost code structure.
    • Ensure all jobsite scrap material is processed in accordance with corporate policy.
    • Maintain office at job site.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, exceptional writing, spelling, and grammar skills.
  • Confidence in discussing detail with cross-functional and multi-level teams.
  • Dependable, consistent, diligent, and conscientious.
  • Able to work well with others, receive direction, multitask, and work independently.
  • Strong team skills.
  • Must be a notary public or obtain notary within 3 months of hire.
  • Intermediate skill level with MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience with automated project costing and accounting systems (JD Edwards, Procore).

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
