Project Accountant
The Opportunity
You will step into a pivotal financial role, taking full ownership of project status reviews, budget tracking, and percent completion reporting. Working directly with company owners and senior leadership, you will maximize revenue generation by ensuring every out-of-scope task, change order, and T&M ticket is meticulously captured and billed. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated project accounting experience within the construction industry.
- Strong command of AIA billing processes, change orders, and diverse contract terms including Lump Sum, Unit Price, and T&M.
- Bachelor’s degree with completed coursework in accounting, finance, project management, or business management.
- Proven proficiency with specialized construction job costing software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States as a US citizen or green card holder.
- Ability to provide solid, verifiable professional references upon request.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Direct project accounting experience within the commercial demolition or industrial rigging sectors.
- Demonstrated experience working successfully alongside unionized field workforces and project teams.
