Job Summary

Sam Brown Healthcare Communications, a Blue Matter Company, seeks a Project Accountant to manage the financial aspects of the agency's operations. This role involves setting up and maintaining projects, managing budgets, handling invoicing, and supporting the monthly close.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of project accounting, billing, or agency finance experience
• Hands-on experience with time-tracking and project management systems (e.g., Beyond Software, Workfront)
• Strong working knowledge of agency billing economics
• Solid grasp of monthly close mechanics
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Qualifications

• Service mindset and ability to partner with non-finance colleagues
• Experience supporting a finance team through a systems migration (e.g., QuickBooks to NetSuite) is a plus
• Familiarity with ADP or a comparable payroll platform is a plus
• Exposure to a PE-backed environment with monthly reporting cadence is a plus
