Project Accountant

About the role

Robert Half Contracts Finance and Accounting division is seeking a Project Accountant to join a well-known Engineering firm in Folsom!

• This Project Accountant would be handling high volume Billing, invoicing, time/material costs, accounts payable and extra projects given by the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated background in project accounting and job cost tracking.
• Experience handling high-volume billing and invoice processing with strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Deltek, including Deltek Vision or Costpoint, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with construction accounting principles and time-and-material billing practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in project-based or construction-related environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Deltek Vision or ERP software.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
