Job Description The Project Accountant is responsible for the proper billing, revenue and reconciliation duties for the Projects under their purview. Project transactions recorded must be in accordance with GAAP revenue recognition guidelines and One10’s workflow. This role will work closely with the Client Services Event Managers. Job Description Details Scope of Work Understands and applies One10 project accounting processes and practicesPropose project journal entries to manage the project’s funds Assist with month-end close activities, reviewing project working capital summaries, project Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet statements, and Percent of Completion schedulesPrepares other ad hoc reports and analysis as assignedStrengthens and maintains efficiency of the revenue accounting function through review of processes and procedures and implementation of process improvementsAnswers account management questions related to client billingContribute to revenue and deferred revenue analysesPerforms other duties as assignedParticipate in cross training Assist in month-end close process, improving close cycle time Additional Job Description Details Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field3-5 years of comprehensive experience in project accountingCPA (active or inactive) preferredStrong MS Excel skills (pivots, v/h-lookups, etc.)Financial expertise in POC billing and GAAP ASC606 revenue recognitionExcellent attention to detail, accuracy and analytic problem-solving skillsStrong organization and time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaborativelyExperience with NetSuite preferred, as well as experience with project management applications/systemsExperience with efficient processes and the use of technology; accuracy is essential Maximum Base Pay $65,000 - $75,000
