Responsibilities
- Setup new projects and associated budgets in the financial system in accordance with contract terms.
- Aid in contract interpretation, tracking change orders, fee adjustments, and other modifications impacting project finances while maintaining accurate project contract files.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Studio leaders at all levels to ensure accurate and consistent billing and financial reporting to respective external and internal clients.
- Monitor and analyze project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance/profitability and review with Project Managers for accuracy.
- Prepare, review, and issue monthly invoices to clients with required supporting documentation.
- Maintain Subconsultant Agreements, coordinate subconsultant invoices and payments per contract terms.
- Monitor studio account receivables and ensure outstanding invoices are collected on a timely basis, including resolving any billing issues.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external clients.
- Understand and apply project accounting principles including billing terms and revenue recognition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
- At least three years of related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Deltek Vantagepoint software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with different personality types.
- Strong critical thinking and in-depth analysis with meticulous attention to detail.
