Project Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruitment has partnered with a construction company in Hampden County, Massachusetts to identify an experienced Project Accountant. This role supports construction project financials from setup through closeout and offers a flexible schedule for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Manage project accounting activities including job setup, cost tracking, and closeoutMonitor project budgets, costs, and profitabilityReview and reconcile job cost reports and related schedulesSupport billing processes, including progress billing and change ordersPartner with project managers to provide financial insights and cost analysisEnsure accurate reporting in accordance with company policies and industry standardsAssist with month-end close and related reconciliations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredPrior experience in construction or project accounting requiredSage 300 experience highly preferredStrong understanding of job cost accounting and WIP reportingProficiency with Excel and accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects Salary: $80,000- $100,000 depending on experience #KBW789
