• Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Track and report on subcontractor costs, labor costs, vendor bills, and subcontractor bills to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage project financials, including invoicing, payments, and expense tracking.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of project accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to project managers and senior management, providing insights into project performance and financial status.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets, monitor project spending, and identify potential cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including GAAP.

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
