Project Accountant

Job Details

This role will support the Project Accounting team in providing timely and accurate financial information for lump sum and GMP projects. This position assists with processing project financial transactions (A/P and A/R), preparing owner billing packages, and supporting trade partner compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Project Accounting team in providing timely and accurate financial information for lump sum and GMP projects.
• Affixes project financial transactions (A/P and A/R).
• Prepares owner billing packages.
• Serves as a liaison between project accountants, project teams, trade partners, and vendors.
• Ensures proper documentation and smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Entry-to-mid-level position with opportunities for development and growth into a Project Accountant role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$75,000 - $90,000 per year.
