Job Details

• Oversee all project accounting functions, including job costing, project budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage all aspects of Construction Accounting, Commercial Real Estate Accounting, and CAM Reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger (GL) and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Analyze complex financial reports and records.
• Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
• Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
• Handle financial auditing for all accounting and financial departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Construction Accounting, CAM Reconciliations, Job Costing, Project Accounting, Commercial Real Estate Accounting, Ledger, GL, and Financial Statements.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and accounting software packages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with precision.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
