Project Accountant

Job Details

This role will support the Project Accounting team in providing timely and accurate financial information for lump sum and GMP projects. This position assists with processing project financial transactions (A/P and A/R), preparing owner billing packages, and supporting trade partner compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Project Accounting team in providing timely and accurate financial information for lump sum and GMP projects.
• Affixes project financial transactions (A/P and A/R).
• Prepares owner billing packages.
• Serves as a liaison between the Project Accounting team, project teams, trade partners, and vendors to ensure proper documentation and smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Entry-to-mid-level position with opportunities for development and growth into a Project Accountant role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of construction accounting principles.
